MP Greg Rickford Hosts Another Successful Passport Clinic in Dryden
February 18, 2010

Dryden, ON - Yesterday approximately 300 people attended the second Passport Clinic held in Dryden by Kenora MP Greg Rickford, his staff and volunteers. Greg was on site throughout the clinic which was held from 2 to7 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion.

People were assisted with all aspects of their passport applications including form completion, photocopying of relevant documents, required passport photos, final checks of applications, submission and tracking of the applications to Passport Canada.

Some who attended had completed most of their applications prior to arriving, and others picked up applications and completed them on site. A photographer was on hand and provided passport photo service to those requiring it.

“This is our 6th passport clinic in the riding. They have all been well received and constituents have told me how much they appreciate this service. It’s also a great opportunity for me to meet and hear from constituents,” said Rickford.

If people were not able to get out to the clinic yesterday, you can contact the Constituency Office at 223-8000 for assistance with your application. The turnaround time on new applications is approximately four weeks and generally two weeks for renewals.
