Yesterday close to 100 people attended the second Passport Clinic held in Kenora by MP Greg Rickford, his staff, and dedicated volunteers. Greg was on site throughout the clinic, which was run from 2pm until 7 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion.

At the clinic, constituents were assisted with all aspects of their passport applications, including form completion, photocopying of relevant documents, passport photos, final application checks, submission to Passport Canada, and tracking the applications.

Some participants had completed most of their applications prior to arriving, while others picked up applications and completed them at the clinic. Local photographer Colleen Serban was on hand, taking passport photos for those that needed them.

“This is our 7th passport clinic in the riding. They have all been well received and constituents have told me how much they appreciate this service. It’s also a great opportunity for me to meet and hear from constituents,” said Rickford.

If you were unable to make it to the clinic yesterday, you can contact the Constituency Office at 468-2170 for assistance with your application. The turnaround time on new applications is approximately four weeks, while it generally takes two weeks for renewals.
