Dryden Passport Clinic Overwhelming Success
April 15, 2009

DRYDEN, ON
Yesterday over 500 people attended the Passport Clinic held by Kenora MP Greg Rickford, his staff and volunteers. Greg was on site throughout the clinic which was held from 1 to 8 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion.

People were assisted with all aspects of their passport applications including form completion, photocopying of relevant documents, required passport photos, final checks of applications, submission and tracking of the applications to Passport Canada.

Some who attended had completed most of their applications prior to arriving, and others picked up applications and completed them on site. Local Dryden business, Custom Image, was on site and provided passport photo services to those that required it.

People began lining up at noon and the flow continued right to 8:00 pm.

“This was our first clinic; I was incredibly pleased with the turnout. It was great to see many familiar faces and have a chance to speak to many people.” said Rickford.

The next Passport Clinic is scheduled for Wednesday May 20th in Kenora at the Royal Canadian Legion from 1 to 8 pm in the upper hall.
