Greg Rickford’s MP Offices Can Help Expedite Your Passport Application
Both the Kenora and Dryden MP Offices can assist with Passport Application completion and processing. We can facilitate the application process by sending the applications priority courier and tracking the applications if needed.
Things You Need for Completing a Passport Application:
- A guarantor - anyone with a valid Canadian Passport over the age of 18 who has known you personally for at least 2 years. A guarantor can be a family member as long as he or she meets the previously specified requirements.
A guarantor must do 3 things:- Sign the back of one of your photos
- Complete and sign a portion of your application
- Sign photocopies of proof of I.D.
- You will need your original birth certificate or Canadian Citizenship Card (this will be mailed away with your application)
- A copy of Secondary I.D. such as: Drivers Licence, S.I.N. Card, Status Card, Health Card, Old Age Security Card, which has been signed by your guarantor
- Credit card, money order, or certified cheque payable to Receiver General ($87 Adult, $37 Child– 3 - 16 years of age, $22 under 3 years old) Cash and personal cheques are NOT accepted
- Two references - names, full mailing addresses and phone numbers of two people (not related to you) who have known you for at least 2 years. These can NOT also be your guarantor.
- Two Passport Photos
Free photocopying is available at the MP Offices.
